From single Street Heroes to paramilitary units, one force is famed for it's fight against crime. For a price. Octagon Security Limited (OSL) is an amalgamation of several privatised police forces and security firms. Unlike Corporations such as the Dekka Military Foundation, OSL specialises in law enforcement and corporate security. Because of this different emphasis OSL forces are made up differently from those purely military corporations. OSL's large corporate security contracts and public law enforcement franchises means that it has massive numbers of personnel at it's disposal. The bulk of it's forces make up Tactical Patrol squads which Police the DMZ's. They are supported by various units specializing in special tactics, heavy weapons, and covert ops. For less vital situations, there are less well-trained and equipped Security Squads. Not all OSL operatives work in squads: Medics and Techs are attached to forces as needed: Success or failure of the Team's mission often depends on their bravery and skill. Recently the Series III 'Trooper' class Replicant was put into service, designed specifically for OSL's policing needs, providing a heavy duty back-up with minimal logistical support.

The 'Heroes' of the OSL are the 'Special Operations Executives', who can be found as undercover operatives, crook hunters, armoured street warriors, or wherever the action is. No more than a half the number of squads in a force may be Security Guard squads. The number of Replicants in any force may not exceed the number of squads in that force.
