The industrial giants known as The Big Four are frequently involved in skirmishes all-out warfare with the "problem elements" in society. Each other. J.S Riot Designs Inc. (JSRD) Founded by electronics designer Jacob Smith, J.S Riot Designs are now the largest Global manufacturers of riot control equipment. Their early success was built on Smith's own design of tear gas canisters, grenades and claymore mines which could be pre-programmed with a client's specific codes which had to be matched with a corresponding key prior to activation. This ingenious technology overnight reduced raids by gangs on corporate arsenals and supposedly secure storage facilities. With manufacturing and design sites in Australia, Thailand, North and South America, J.S Riot Designs have 3 product divisions; Fixed Products (static gas dispensers & security fencing), Munitions (grenades, canisters and mines), and Protection Products (gas masks, riot shields, and combat suits). JSRD currently employ some 67, 000 employees worldwide and enjoy sales in excess of $19 Billion (USD). JSRD's own corporate force maintains security at their sites, and occasionally makes pre-emptive strikes against potential threats to the corporation. This force numbers approximately 2200 men, split into 4 Command groups based in Sydney (Aus), Atlanta (Georgia, US), Lima (Peru) and Krabi (Thailand). There are also counter-industrial espionage and hostage negotiation teams based in Oslo (Norway) and Murray (Utah, US). Most of JSRD's site security is undertaken by 4 man patrol squads suited to guarding installations and reacting to breaches of security. Lightly armoured and highly mobile, they are intendsed to keep the enemy busy until a JSRD Tactical Squad arrives:
Rules for Tear Gas Grenades (Tear Gas) can be found in “What's That Noise?” in the Combat Zone Chronicles. Patrol Squad members are considered to have the “Fast” battle skill and adds 1cm to any movement action of 1AP or more, JSRD's Tactical Squads are capable of dealing with well armed and armoured opponents and may carry support weapons depending on the mission.
JSRD Hostage Rescue Squads are trained both as negotiators and as assault troops, designed to resolve conflict either by reasoned discussion or direct atcion.

| Mitchell Security PLC Mitchell Security, a London based security company specializing in land reclamation and management is owned by Umar Mitchell, the son of the late gambling tycoon Hafez Mitchell. The corporation's ability to cleanse development land of unwanted gangs and residents, and to provide ruthless security onsite during construction has seen them flourish in the 14 years since they first opened in West Ham in 2092. Mitchell's official turnover is just a little over £600M, as most transactions are unofficial contracts due to the clients need for confidentiality.. Mitchell purposely do not release details of their offices or staff to the public, and all employees sign a confidentiality agreement punishable even after retirement. Reliable rumour has it that the punishment is summary execution. It is understood that employees are limited to interacting at work only with their platoon to ensure operational details are strictly on a need to know basis. Squad composition typically consists of a Sergeant, Corporal, 4 troopers and a heavy weapons specialist.
3 squads of 7, with the addition of a Platoon Leader, Radio Op, Combat Medic and Sniper make a 25-man platoon All personnel are trained at their facility on the Salisbury Plain in firearms, in Mitchell's own close combat system, based on knife fighting, and in squad tactics. Platoon Command:
Total Platoon Value (25 men): 1022 pts Mitchell also runs 3 detention and interrogation units in Europe which they manage and make available to corporations on a contract basis.
All other information relating to the detention centres are classified.......but will be leaked by Urban Future (as soon as I write them)

| Frost Defence Consultants Frost Defence, one of the largest military contractors in the late 21st century, are now somewhat out of favour with the American corporate world after the media expose of project “Omicron 23”. Developed in collaboration with the Egyptian nomadic purist movement, Al Musaafir ('The Travellers') Omicron 23 was a genetic targeting system allowing the creation of nerve agents affecting specific racial groups without harming others.. The project, was officially disbanded in 2097 due to the effects of negative publicity on Frost's other key business sectors, namely droids and robotic fighting systems (RFS). Corporation founder and CEO Freddie Frost was forced to resign in disgrace. He was replaced by his grandson James, who (ably assisted by his younger brother Alan) has managed to reclaim any market shares lost by the scandal. Currently Frost has worldwide sales of $21 Billion and employs 88, 500 people, including a private army of some 1,700 troops. Frost Defence has always been at the forefront of technology and invests around 50% of turnover into their R&D facility in Calcutta. The Calcutta Defence Institute has developed many military applications as offshoots of several commitercial technologies as diverse as secure communications protocols, and power drives. The latest innovation from Frost Defence is the RX450, a bipedal robotic fighting system intended for the high-end security market. Unlike all other bipeds on the market the RX450 has organic armour that provides self-healing, and the ability to blend with its environment using Frost's patented Chame-Camo which provides chameleon-like capabilities when stationary.
All RX450's have Auto Repair Systems and 1 additional equipment slot:
Frost also maintains an elite parachute strike force called “The Owls” who specialize in night insertion, undertaking pre-emptive strikes against corporate opponents. A squad consists of:
A single grenade launcher provides a little extra beef to the squads fire-power, usually held by the sub-leader of the squad. Please note, grenade launchers are ineffective at less than 10cm (the grenade would be hand thrown) and typically Frost's Owls use the Erskine Corporation E11 Model:

| Greenleaf Chemicals PLC Although Greenleaf Industries is involved in everything from aviation fuel production to semiconductor manufacture, in one way or another every activity relies on the groups chemical manufacturing division, Greenleaf Chemicals PLC. Greenleaf Chemicals started in 2022 specializing in chemical reclamation and disposal, working alongside large industrial manufacturers disposing of harmful waste chemicals. Over the last century Greenleaf has developed their chemical reclamation and augmentation techniques which now enable them to re-process more than 70% of all the world's chemicals. Greenleaf Chemicals is protected by two forces; PTL4 and PTL 5. PTL 4 is a conventional land-based force protecting land installations such as storage depots and mines. Their tan shirts and red berets make them look the smart, well-trained forece that they are. PTL5 is Greenleaf's Marine unit, working to protect their gas and oil installations at sea. Although thought of as “special forces”, only 20% of the force is presently employed on marine missions. Both “4” & “5”, as they are known by Greenleaf, spilt their units into D-RAPs (Defence, Recon & Assault Parties), wholly self contained units of 5-10 men, capable of defence, recon and assault orders. Self-contained and self-reliant, the D-RAPS of 4 are left pretty much to their own devices by central Comm unitand, being given general orders, such as “defend the gas pipe”, with the the choice of tactics and weapons left solely to the D-RAP sergeants discretion. This is seen as one of 4's greatest strengths; being capable of being dropped into almost any environment with limited orders and running as a self reliant unit. Opponents would argue that some D-RAP's have too much autonomy and on occasion have been accused of becoming judge, jury and executioner, with little thought for the consequences of their actions. A number of complaints have been filed against Greenleaf Chemicals by civilians caught up innocently in operations, but to date none have reached the courts.
Only the best of 4's troops get the opportunity to exchange their tan & red for the much sought-after blue shirt and blue beret. The annual tryouts are fierce contests open only to troopers invited by 5's recruiters. Because of 5's specialist role and additional training they have much less opportunity to interact with the public, working predominantly on covert missions around rigs, shipping terminals and waterways.<,/span>
Typical operations include underwater recon, demolitions and the dispersion of pirate gangs. All troopers from “5” have the battle skill of “quick reflexes” in addition to their allocated skills in recognition of the special forces training.
Being a Marine unit, “5” rely on various water craft to travel on estuaries and open seas. Small rigid inflatables are the most widely used, doubling up as both patrol boats and as a floating machine gun nests to provide support:
A machine gun post may be added to the inflatable at a cost of an additional 16 pts, and a loss of 4 capacity slots (with MG can only carry 4 marines including pilot). Firing the MG whilst moving, the gunner suffers a-1 to hit. No modifier to the “to hit” if stationary.
All rules relating to the use of vehicles in CZ are as per “Vehicles in Combat Zone” by Glen Hayward . Use the rules for “cars” for the rigid inflatables.

Greenleaf Chemical's head offices are in Toronto, Canada, and they currently have installations in more than 90% of countries around the globe. Their core interests include natural resources including gas, oil, and precious metals, as well as the development of solar reactors at sites in Chad, Libya and Mali. Currently Greenleaf Chemicals employs around 74, 000 and turnover somewhere in the region of $11 Billion (US).
