Some More Cops
by Gisby

I needed some specific cop types for a couple of scenarios. eM-4 was able to provide everything I needed.

Cops in Helmets

Although I love the Retro Police State look of the 'Cops', It always seemed like there were duties where the hat wouldn't be appropriate: Motorcycle duty, for one. So I wanted a squad of Cops in helmets.

Cutting their heads off and replacing them with plastic trooper heads seemed to be a simple solution, and it was. It also left me with some spare Cop heads!

I used a craft knife to cut the base of the neck on each side, and gently work the head back and forth until it popped off.

The collar was hollowed with a dremel, and the helmet was glued into place. (You could instead file the helmet bottom flat)

Random Cops, not sure if I've used them before.

Notable and Bodyguards

The Notable is an 0053 with a new right arm and a snappy hairdo made from putty.

The Bodyguards are a pair of 0074 with their heads replaced with Cop heads.

The series of conversions were planned out in advance, but I started them in the wrong order. When I started these, I spent time searching for the heads i needed, having forgotten that they would come from the other figures involved,

Cops in Gasmasks

This one seemed a no-brainer. The Police are the most likely to use gas, and will need to be able to function in it.

I first replaced 0052's head with one of the leftover Cop heads. You can't see the face, so it doesn't matter that it's a male head. The join was disguised with new hair.

The gas masks were made with thin sheets of putty, the cannisters being cut from sprue. The figures already had goggles.
