The figures are single-piece, PVC mouldings, so are a treat for those who don't like fiddling about with assembling hundreds of pieces.
They glue with PVC or cyano adhesive, so conversions are easy. I did various head turnings and swaps to increase variety, and it was easy as can be.
The detail is good, and easy to bring out. I used block painting and a simple wash, and I am quite pleased with the results.
Their proportions are more 'Toy Soldier' than 'Wargames Figure', so heads are more normal in size, weapons are not overscale, etc.
In fact, when I got them, they put me in mind of the modern 20mm plastics, just in a paintable, glueable plastic, and in 28mm. This is not a bad thing.
They are an easy way to build 28mm forces, and are ideal to introduce youngsters to the hobby. They look & feel like toy soldiers, but can be painted to take their place in line of battle. (In a pinch, they don't need paint, being moulded in blue & grey)
