Yes, using only your brain and stuff you already have, you can earn valuable em-4 credit.
While trying to finish the next issue of the CoZoChron, we found our well was dry: We were out of submitted articles. We (Doug, really)
therefore decided to offer em-4 credit in return for articles.
photos, and/or filler that we use.
We offer 5 GBP per picture/filler/missive.
A Battle report/simple scenario/buildings/terrain etc. article would
bring you a 10 GBP credit
A larger article would bring 15-20 GBP in credit. (major rules
suggestions, mini-campaigns, etc.)
Note that many of these should/could have photos provided, adding to
your possible fee!
If the article needs editing, it will be edited. If all you have is
an IDEA that we could use, send it along
If you are uncertain if we will be interested, drop us a note to ask what we think of your idea. If we like it, we'll ask you to flesh it out.
If it has too much puff it may be pared down to a lesser status, but
it won't be done solely to lower the fee. Mostly we will edit to make
the grammer and speling more gooder.
Filler? A short paragraph with a hint, suggestion, etc.
EXAMPLE:
"Keanu Reeves' 'Johnny Mnemonic' provides a glimpse into a CoZo-
styled world, with gangers and corporate goons battling it out in a
bleak urban landscape. There are many ideas for terrain, scenarios,
and for the 'look' of your figures. Even if you don't use it in your
games, it's still a fun movie."
If I get the same stuff submitted by several people, It'll be more
likely to be used if it's an article rather than filler.
Missives are just letters to the editor: 'B4 i plaid Cobmat Zon i
had no frends now i am datin the olsen twins' (Who ARE the Olsen
Twins?)

Articles should be submitted in Word or RTF format, and pictures as .jpgs. (Articles submitted in the body of an email are fine!) A .txt copy is also helpful.
NOTE: photos should be no more than 4" high at 72DPI, or roughly
400K in size. (200-300K is better!) If we need a larger version we'll
ask for it!
For hints on taking photos for the CoZoChron, please read 'Picture That!'
So... If you have ideas, photos, articles, filler, etc. send them
along to enquiries@em4miniatures.com. (Doug's inbox is bigger than
mine, and he'll be doing the drawing!)
Note that our new format has actually INCREASED our apetite for new articles. We no longer wait for a new issue, but add new articles as we get ones we like!
